(Sub-)mm interferometry in massive star-forming regions

(Sub-)mm interferometry is the most favorable technique to investigate the earliest stages of massive star formation. I will outline general applications in that field and discuss results of different sub-topics (hot core chemistry and massive molecular outflows). Furthermore, recent data obtained with the Submillimeter Array will be shown to present the unique capabilities of this new instrume...

‏‎suppression of coke formation in thermal cracking by coke inhibitors‎‏

‏‎the main purpose of this research was to:1.develop a coking model for thermal cracking of naphtha.2.study coke inhibition methods using different coke inhibitors.developing a coking model in naphtha cracking reactors requires a suitable model of the thermal cracking reactor based on a reliable kinetic model.to obtain reliable results all these models shall be solved simultaneously.for this pu...

Star formation in clusters : a survey of compact mm - wave sources in the Serpens core

We report the results of a millimeter interferometric survey of compact 3 mm continuum sources in the inner 5.5 ′ × 5.5 ′ region of the Serpens core. We detect 32 discrete sources above 4.0 mJy/beam, 21 of which are new detections at millimeter wavelengths. By comparing our data with published infrared surveys, we estimate that 26 sources are probably protostellar condensations and derive their...
